APPLICATION:
BSAS International’s promise is to develop aircraft that

with Aerosud and Denel, any proposed modifications to the DC3/C47
65ARTP’s is part of the service and support offered by
Braddick Specialised Air Services International (Pty) Ltd.
African Transport & Logistics:
The DC3/C47’s are famous for their rugged agility. The
ability to repeatedly land and take-off from unprepared runways
with heavy payloads makes the aircraft a useful rural relief
vehicle. Improved cargo doors, power to weight and range make
the DC3/C47 65ARTP the ultimate support aircraft.
The Turbo Dak has the ability to perform from the depths of
Africa to the jungles of South America and even across the open
landscape of central Australia. No terrain, is to tough for
the improved “Sky Train”.
Parachuting & Skydiving:
The DC3/C47 is renowned for being used as paratroop transport.
Our turbo conversion makes a great aircraft, even better.
Antarctic Support:
Support to the extremities of our planet, require many modifications
to normal aircraft. The DC3/C47 65ARTP is easily fitted with
removable skis and engine performances allow the aircraft to
operate perfectly in such harsh conditions.
Reconnaissance:
Turbo Daks in South Africa underwent extensive modifications
to turn the aircraft into maritime patrol vehicles. Radars and
other electronic equipment were fitted to allow the spotting
of intruders in costal waters and alert naval forces. The Turbo
Dak has also been successfully utilised for aerial and land
patrol. Slow cruise speeds and long range make this aircraft
perfect for such tasks.
Weapons Platform:
The DC3/C47 65ARTP conversion may be transformed into a successful
weapons platform. Carrying various armaments the aircraft is
able to offer formidable fire power.
Various other applications of this aircraft have been found
around the world. This versatility is what makes this aircraft,
