Glass Configuration
Cargo Door Modification (BSAS DC3/C47 TP):
To improve the Turbo Daks cargo abilities, a composite
door may be installed, this will increase the height of
cargo that may be loaded onto the plane, also allowing LD3
& LD2 containers to be transported.
Engine Modification (BSAS DC3/C47 TP):
The P&W Canada PT6A 65AR [1424 SHP] engines with Hartzell
HC-B5MP-3C/M10876 propellers are standard to the BSAS 65ARTP,
the STC also accomodats P&W Canada PT6A 67R [1424 SHP]
and the latest 67F [1624 SHP] engines. The aircraft designation
after conversion would then become the DC3/C47 67RTP or
DC3/C47 67FTP.
The 67F turbine allows an additional 2200 lbs payload,
at a relative hot & high takeoff to the 65AR and 67R
turbines. Please request our feasibility study to see the
advantages of such a modification.
De-Icing Modification (BSAS DC3/C47 TP):
The de-icing of a BSAS DC3/C47 TP allows the aircraft operation
in the most hostile environments and flying conditions.
